JESSICA + RYAN JESSICA + RYAN

JESSICA + RYAN

08th August 2025

A mid-July ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall, post-wedding drinks at The Ivy, and a morning spent reading personal vows in bathrobes over coffee - Jessica and Ryan’s wedding was intimate, elegant, and entirely their own.

Set against the timeless backdrop of London, Jessica wore MWL Sol, paired with a satin neck scarf in place of a veil - an effortlessly elevated choice that felt true to her.

Here, she shares the moments she’ll never forget, her styling inspiration, and the advice she’d give future brides planning their own modern love story.

WHO PROPOSED AND HOW?

Ryan proposed in Rome, Italy on our hotel terrace in the evening overlooking the Colosseum all lit up.

WHAT INSPIRED YOUR WEDDING STYLING OR AESTHETIC?

Classy, timeless, laughter, intimate and quintessentially English.

TALK US THROUGH YOUR ACCESSORIES:

I kept everything very similar to my everyday style as I wanted to feel like “me” on the day. I wanted Ryan to see his wife to be as he would for the rest of our lives. I loved wearing the neck scarf rather than a veil as it made the style feel more modern and classy. I liked that this was different from a traditional veil.

WHAT INSPIRED YOUR WEDDING STYLING OR AESTHETIC?

Classy, timeless, laughter, intimate and quintessentially English.

WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT FOR YOU AT YOUR WEDDING?

Walking down the aisle and seeing Ryan looking at me, full of excitement and love.

WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING DAY MORNING LIKE?

We actually said our full personal vows to each other in private in the morning, in bathrobes, on the balcony whilst having breakfast and coffee, another favourite moment of mine.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL OTHER BRIDES?

We had an intimate dinner with close family and friends the night before the wedding, this is where we did speeches which meant we could make them more personal. This was amazing because it extended the celebrations but also removed the stress of speeches on the actual wedding day. We had the ceremony later in the day at 5pm so we had a chance to spend the morning relaxing. I also got ready with Ryan and this is the best advice, I hated the thought of being apart from him before the wedding.

Sol is our illusion bodice and skirt design that blends the sophistication of a two-piece with the seamless beauty of a full gown. Crafted in soft, figure-hugging satin that smooths and softens, she’s made for the bride who wants a timeless look, but loves to make a statement.
